Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and Lois Toulson win Great Britain's fifth diving medal of the World Aquatics Championships with a bronze in the women's 10m synchro final.

Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and Lois Toulson added to Great Britain's ever-growing haul of diving medals at the World Aquatics Championships with a bronze in the women's 10m synchro final.

The duo - who won silver in the event at last year's World Championships - were slightly down on their 2023 score with a total of 299.34, pipping Mexico to a place on the podium by three marks.

Three solid opening routines saw Spendolini-Sirieix and Toulson occupy third place heading into the penultimate round, although they were slightly down on their fourth dive and were briefly bumped out of the medals.

Ukraine went into the final rotation with the bronze to lose, but with 7.5s and 8.0s across the board, the Britons scored 74.88 on their fifth routine to win their nation's fifth diving medal of the Championships.

China's Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi were streets ahead of the competition and stormed to the gold medal with a total of 362.22, while North Korea scored 320.70 to take the silver.

GB's success in the synchro final comes after Spendolini-Sirieix also won bronze in the individual 10m event, while Toulson finished sixth in the same competition.
