Liverpool have reportedly grown confident that they will be able to tie down Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah to new contracts.
Following the news that Jurgen Klopp will step down as manager at the end of the season, speculation has emerged that there could also be an exodus among the squad too.
Klopp will leave along with most of the current coaching staff at Anfield, with assistant manager Pep Lijnders in particular keen to venture into management himself.
When asked if he would stay next season following Klopp's departure, defender Van Dijk responded: "That's a big question. Well, I don't know."
Salah has also been linked heavily with a move to the Saudi Pro League, as it has been made no secret that the league is keen to bring the world's most famous Arab footballer to the Gulf state.

Al-Ittihad lodged a £150m bid for the Liverpool attacker in the summer, but the club refused to allow one of their most important players to leave so late in the transfer window.
Despite the rumours and comments though, Football Insider claim the club is confident that they will keep hold of the three players beyond next season.
It is believed that if the club shows the right ambition, starting with the hunt for a new manager to replace Klopp, then the players will be convinced to extend their stays on Merseyside.
All three have just 18 months left on their current contracts, but Van Dijk and Salah will turn 34 and 33 next summer, respectively, so huge, bumper contracts for them are unlikely.
However, it would still be in their best interest to explore potential contract extensions, given how important the two still are to the side at present.
Salah netted 18 goals across all competitions in the first half of the season before jetting off for Africa Cup of Nations duty with Egypt - more than anyone else at the club.

Despite a couple of glaring errors in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal last weekend, Van Dijk remains a pivotal part of the Liverpool defence which has conceded the joint-fewest goals in the Premier League so far this season.
The club's most valuable asset is unquestionably Alexander-Arnold though, with many holding the belief that the England international is still yet to hit his ceiling, with a move into midfield looking likely later in his career.
Alexander-Arnold's creative attributes are well-documented, as he is tied with fellow Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson for the most Premier League assists by a defender in the history of the competition (57).
With Liverpool still top of the table heading into their clash with Burnley at Anfield this weekend, it is likely that the three players in question will have a big role to play in holding off Manchester City in the fight for the title this season.
