Manchester United have reportedly identified Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez as a potential target for the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils turned to Serie A last summer to strengthen their forward line with the signing of Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta BC in a deal worth up to £72m.
After taking time to adapt to his new surroundings, Hojlund has found his feet in the last couple of months, having scored in each of his last five Premier League appearances.
While Hojlund is enjoying a fine spell of form, Man United could still look to bring in a new striker this summer due to Anthony Martial's expected departure.
The Frenchman is set to end his nine-year stay at Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of the current season.

With Martial expected to depart on a free transfer, Man United are seemingly scouring the market for reinforcements in the final third.
According to Fichajes, the Red Devils are lining up a summer move for Martinez as they continue to keep tabs on his contract situation.
The report suggests that Man United boss Erik ten Hag has pinpointed the World Cup winner as one of his top targets for the summer transfer window.
The Argentina international is currently under contract until June 2026, but he is believed to be in discussions with Inter over extending his stay with the club.
While Martinez is willing to sign an extension with the Nerazzurri, the two parties are yet to reach a final agreement on a new deal.

The Inter captain is currently enjoying a successful campaign, having registered 22 goals and five assists in 30 competitive matches.
With 19 of those strikes taking place in the Italian top flight, Martinez is currently leading the Serie A scoring charts by seven goals.
Martinez's impressive form has helped Simone Inzaghi's side establish a seven-point lead over Juventus at the top of the Serie A table.
During his time with Inter, the 26-year-old has won a Serie A title, two Coppa Italia trophies and three Italian Super Cups.
